Design Charrette Facilitation
Continuing Education Program Development for Product Manufacturers
Projects that employ the integrated design process should begin with a kick-off charrette involving the entire project team. The result of this brainstorming session is a list of clearly defined design and performance goals for the project that will serve as the Owner’s Performance Requirements (OPR) and Basis of Design (BOD) documents.
Depending upon the size and scope of the project, these charrettes can be as short as a half-day and as long as two days. Facilitation is designed to give all team members a voice and gain consensus on a project's goals for building performance.
